We’re all a flutter here at NOVA Towers as our spanking new NOVA smartphone app has been made a finalist at the forthcoming Digital Media Awards.
The NOVA app provides rolling Irish and international music news, published across the day by our in-house journalists, as well as access to our digital radio stations – NOVA 60s, NOVA 70s, NOVA 80s, NOVA 90s, NOVA 00s, NOVA Classic Rock and NOVA Chill.
The ‘Best App’ category is about celebrating apps “that use new technology in an innovative way as an ongoing campaign or stand-alone addition to a brand that effectively and creatively reached target customers to build or maintain their brand and market share while maintaining marketing objectives, while appealing to the creator’s target audience, ensuring the utmost accessibility and efficiency for its users.” So there!
And we’re in excellent company too! We’re against The Wild Atlantic Way – Fáilte Ireland, Coors Light, The Whole World Band, Cúla Caint 3, Arnotts Wondercard, Edco Learning, Tablet Banking and Glanbia & mymilkman.ie.
The Digital Media Awards, which are being judged by a panel of industry experts who represent a broad spectrum of industry professions, will be held on February 20th at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Dublin.
Our recently-relaunched website, Nova.ie, was awarded “Best News & Entertainment Web Site” at the 2014 Eircom Spiders Awards in November.
