Radio Nova has been short-listed for five national awards at this year’s IMRO Radio Awards.
The radio industry awards span six categories – Music / News & Sport / Speech / General / People / Stations of the Year – with a total of 41 awards granted to radio stations throughout the radio industry on the night. The prestigious awards will be held at Kilkenny’s Lyrath Hotel on Friday 7th October. This year’s event is the first physical awards ceremony held since 2019 on account of the Covid pandemic.
Radio Nova has been nominated for the following:
- Breakfast Programme – ‘Morning Glory with PJ & Jim’
- Radio DJ – ‘Dee Woods’
- Specialist Music Programme – ‘The Nova Guestlist with Kieran McGuinness’
- Community / Social Action – ‘Hill to Hill for Jack & Jill’
- Music, Arts & Culture Documentary – ‘A Mod World’ by Cathal Funge.

The winners will be announced on Friday 7th October at the Lyrath.
