Radio Nova continues to be the number one radio station in Dublin, according to the latest JNLR ratings, showing that the station now has a primetime market share of 9.4%, up 1.2% in the last three month period. *
The latest ratings show Nova’s continued position as the leading radio station in the capital, with it definitively passing out long-time rivals FM104 and Today FM over the past two years.
Nova’s key shows also showed strong growth with its ‘Morning Glory with PJ & Jim’ breakfast show adding 10,000 listeners to bring it to 80,000 daily and ‘Nova Drive with Pat Courtenay’ rising to 86,000. **
The JNLR, 2025.1, covers the period April 2024 to March 2025.
CEO/Programme Director, Kevin Branigan, said, “We are so delighted with these latest ratings, showing that more people than ever before are listening to Nova and for longer each day too. We love our listeners and we feel so gratified that they give us their time each day and choose to spend their day with us. It’s a privilege to be their radio station of choice and to be so established as Dublin’s number one music station”.
Radio Nova broadcasts to Dublin City, County & Commuter Belt on FM and nationwide via mobile, smart speaker and the Irish Radio Player.
