Position: Agency / Brand Sales Executive at Dublin’s Radio Nova
The Client:
Radio Nova is the fastest growing radio station in the market! Launched in September 2010, we already have 111,000 listeners and rising. We are the only Dublin radio station licenced to cover Dublin city, county and the extensive commuter belt, incorporating Wicklow, Kildare and Meath. Our audience is growing at a rapid pace and we wish to expand our account management team.
The position:
We’re seeking to employ an experienced professional in the role of Agency / Brand Sales Executive. As a member of the Radio Nova team, you will be responsible for building on existing and establishing new relationships with the major advertising agencies and brands in this market.
You will be required to negotiate bookings with advertising agencies on a daily basis by demonstrating both value and effectiveness to these agencies for their clients.
You will be required to be both advertising and radio savy with a knowledge of developments and trends in the market around you.
You should have a keen interest in communicating the value that Radio Nova brings to both advertising agencies and the brands they represent.
You should be known to the major advertising groups and have a strong relationship with some or all of the agencies in this market.
Requirements:
Dealing with some or all media planners and buyers in advertising agencies on a daily basis, you should be organised, assertive and advertising savvy. This is a very target driven environment, so you must have a proven track record of achieving and surpassing targets whilst maintaining strong relationships with agencies.
Other requirements:
– 2+ years of agency and brand sales experience (Radio would be preferred, but not essential)
– Capable of working on your own initiative
– Excellent Presentation skills – both in person and in writing
– Excellent negotiation and creative skills and an ability to see opportunities in every area
– Strong time management and admin/organisational skills
– Excellent knowledge of Powerpoint and other presentation software.
– Own car with drivers licence essential
