Radio Nova has won the Bronze award for Station Imaging at the The New York Festivals International Radio Awards. The award has been to given to Nova in the ‘Promotion Spots, Opens & IDs’ category.
The New York Festivals Radio Awards honours radio content in all lengths and formats and across all platforms from radio stations, networks, and independent producers from around the globe. The Awards honor and promote the exceptional and innovative content being created today on all continents and seen across all platforms. The 2020 entry process saw entries from over 30 countries, all judged by a Grand Jury of radio professionals from around the world.
It’s the second major award that Nova has won for its station imaging, having scooped a Gold award at the Irish IMRO Radio Awards in 2018.
Programme Director, Colm Hayes, said: “We’re delighted to win this award from the New York International Radio Festival. It’s recognition of the great creative work that our Imaging Director, Fiona Scally, delivers on a daily basis and validation of the effort all of us go to at Nova to enhance our station values through creativity in broadcasting”.
Radio Nova broadcasts to Dublin city, county and commuter belt on FM and nationwide via the Irish Radio Player and its smartphone apps .
